Not only am I super stoked for Fall because of all the cute knits and riding boots I get to wear for the next couple of months, but there are also a ton of new and effortless makeup and hair looks that have shown up on runway that I can't wait to try. This season, whether it be tousled or sleek, up or down, there is a pretty (and quick) way for everyone to wear their hair.
Here are a couple of the season's prettiest looks that were all over the runway and some easy tips on how to recreate them in under ten minutes!
Deep Side Part

Seen: Ralph Lauren, Prada, Balmain
How to get it: This look adds sophistication and drama to your look. Apply a thermal styler product- I use Sally Hershberger's Go With The Blow Thermal Styler, $15.00. With a boar bristle brush, blow dry your hair making sure to blast your roots with extra hot air to add height. With a comb, create a deep part, (I usually begin my deep part in line with the peak arch of my eyebrow) and let your hair lightly fall over your forehead. Gather your hair at the nape of your neck and tie into place.
Sleek and Untamed

Seen: Gucci
How to get it: With it's polished front and wild back, this look is for all the hair gurus that just can't decide. Prep your wet hair with mousse before blow-drying. When dry, create a side-part with a comb. Gather your hair in a slick ponytail at the nape of your neck, tie into place, and spray with hairspray for shine and control. (For extra glam, grab a 2-inch section of your pony, wrap about the elastic and use a bobby pin to keep in place.) Divide your ponytail into 3-inch sections and use a crimper to create the "messy" ponytail. When you are done crimping, back-comb the bottom half of your ponytail for volume. Lightly mist with hairspray.
Carefree Braid

Seen: Lanvin, Pucci
How to get it: This look is ulta-romantic and feminine. Apply a wave spray to damp or dry hair. With a comb, create a center part and softly pull back hair into a low ponytail. Begin braiding hair only at the nape of the neck. To create a super soft and carefree look, let any front pieces fall free.
Soft Chignons

Seen: Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana
How to get it: Create a deep side part with a comb on dry hair and mist with hairspray. On the same side as your part, comb hair into a low ponytail below the ear. Tease the end of the tail, braid the last two inches and fasten with elastic. Roll everything into a ball and loosely pin it into place. Let pieces fall loose and lightly mist with spray.
Half up Hair

Seen: Miu Miu, Nina Ricci
How to get it: Apply thermal spray to damp ends and mousse at the crown of your head; blowdry hair until dry. With a curling iron, seperate your hair into 6 sections and loosely wrap your hair around the iron to create ultra-feminine and sexy curls. If you find that your curls are too "perfect", run your fingers through your hair and lightly mist hairspray on your ends to give your hair a more bedhead look. Create a center part and lightly tease hair at the roots with a comb. Pull back about 1-inch sections of your hair from above both ears and secure pieces behind your head loosely with a clip or bobby pin.
