Tell me, what’s not to love about H&M’s Fashion Against Aids Collection? It encourages people to contribute to worldwide HIV/AID awareness and comes in a diverse selection of style items.
For a fifth year, H&M will donate 25% of sales to different youth organizations dealing with HIV/AIDS awareness when you make a purchase from their Fashion Against Aids Collection.
These designs were created by many artists who offered their creative skills and ideas. Head of design at H&M, Anne-Sofie Johanssan said “I love this year's Fashion against AIDS collection. It brings together so many global styles that send not only a powerful fashion message, but also help spread the word about HIV/AIDS awareness. It's great that the collection includes the work of artists and illustrators from many different countries, helping us to raise funds for these vital youth HIV/AIDS charities."
This collection is fun and is perfect for summer with bright ethnic prints, tie-dye cut-off shorts and graphic tee’s. There are also lots of unique accessories like beaded necklaces, cell-phone cases & band-aids. This whole collection really shows diversity in taste and culture.
My favourite pieces are the bustiers, graphic sun-glasses and turquoise sandals. But, take a look for yourself at the newest pieces to hit stores this Spring.
The collection will be available starting April 26th 2012 online and in stores. Shopping for a cause has never been so fashionable!
