Arriving during Color Me Softly, the runway show before FDMD's only lingerie show entitled Oh La La!, was discouraging to say the least. Without a doubt the most full it's ever been during the festival, McGill was so over capacitated that it felt like there wouldn't be enough breathing air for all the spectators...and we were outside. After a few minutes of sneaky moves and a bit of innocent persuasion, I finally made it to the front just in time for the show to start. Then I understood why so many people were present. The girls looked like a blend of Austin Power's "Fembots" and Barbie, while the guys (male models were certainly a surprise) looked like perfectly sculpted oiled-up Gods. The Djing was done by Poirier, while Face-T rapped over the music in a sort of attempt to sound like Sean Paul that failed pretty badly. It's not like anyone would be listening to the music anyway. Enjoy the pictures we managed to snap as well as a video courtesy of the Montreal Gazette, filmed by Dario Ayala!
