Janie Bryant, the popular television series Mad Men's costume designer, and Banana Republic's creative director Simon Kneen have teamed up in the creation of a new line that is inspired by the style of the men and women in the 60's featured in the show. Bryant was necessary to the line because he needed to keep the authentic aesthetic to the clothes, while Kneen made sure the pieces stayed true to Banana Republic's usual style. The women's collection features many dresses, high-waisted skirts, pumps, accessories and trench coats, while the men's collection offers a wide variety of suits, hats, ties and pocket squares. The 65 piece line will be available in North-American stores and online as of August 11th, while Banana Republic Facebook fans will be able to purchase the articles online August 10th.
