Guys, you know what time it is. The end of the month brings you mind-blowing songs for your Ipod. You guys are gonna get all the top 10 songs I've gathered up this month, varying from destructive dubstep that will literally break the windows of your room, to more relaxing and enjoyable dancing beats. Are you guys ready with your Ipods plugged in your computer, 'cause I would be if I were you. HERE WE GO!
1 - Flashback (Millions Like Us Remix) - Calvin Harris
If you guys are searching for some amazing power trip song, here it is. Millions Like Us' remix of Flashback simply will explode your speakers at how the electro and bass fuse into massive bass hits. Millions Like Us have a tendency of bringing dubstep to a whole other level, and this remix brought them back in the top dubstep artists out there, in my opinion.
2 - Renegade feat. Maxsta (Cutline Remix) - The Qemists
After having posted about Cutline's most recent song, Runnin' featuring Bella Humble, I decided to look more into Cutline and seeing what other songs they had released. After downloading a couple of their tunes I find this song, Renegade. As I started listening to the song, I simply wanted to DANCE. The song is so much fun, is so upbeat that it just makes you move. The dubstep is not grimy like most songs, however it still packs a punch when it wants to. A good song to have fun.
3 - Strobe (Klaypex Remix) - Deadmau5
We gotta be careful here. We know Deadmau5 is a tank, and that Strobe is already an amazing song right here. We ALL know that. However, I find that, after listening to Klaypex's remix of the song multiple songs, I give the guy credit because he still keeps the song intact while shaking it up with a bit of dub. Strobe is so fragile that one little thing could screw the song up, but I find that the song still makes you go into a trance-like state, and Klaypex can bring you all the way there. Sit back and let yourself relax with this great song.
4 - Kyoto (Ruffneck Bass) {Disics Extended Remix) - Skrillex feat. Sirah
If you guys came to read this post, and wanted to some dirty, grimy dubstep, this is DEFINATELY the song for you. Obviously when you see Skrillex you're thinking: "It's gotta be good". Well guys, it is once again. Disics remix of Kyoto just brings you to another world of grime, as the electro and dubstep from Skrillex fuse into one as Sirah raps her way through the song. If you're hanging around with dubstep lovers, play this song and you'll literally blow you're speakers out.
5 - Midnight City (PatrickReza Dubstep Remix) - M83
Ladies and gentlemen, this song is love at its finest. If you love M83's smoothing songs, being upbeat at the same time, with some quick dubstep hits to accompany it, here's is your download of the month. PatrickReza simply hits the dub at the perfect time, as M83's rhythm simply follows the beat continuously, making it so relaxing (in my opinion of course). A dubstep song that relaxes? Yes it exists my friends, and you better grab it now 'cause it'll blow you away.
6 - Drowning (Avicii Remix) - Armin Van Buuren feat. Laura V.
Can i say best club song you've heard in a while? I mean yeah, Avicii already has Levels as the big song right now, however his remix of Drowning by Armin Van Buuren feat. Laura V is absolutely brilliant. Already having Armin Van Buuren playing his electro song with Laura V's beautiful lyrics is great, and Avicii working with it as well just makes it even better. A perfect song to dance, to move around, to scream and shout. A fun song to drive around in, a great song period. Another must download.
7 - Antidote (Instrumental Mix) - Swedish House Mafia feat. Knife Party
Knife Party is becoming bigger and bigger, and playing with artists such as Swedish House Mafia will only make them greater. Already they exploded when they remixed Porter Robinson's song Unison, this song simply drives the dubstep in, the electro in, brings everything that you can think of in a dubstep song. The original version is a good song as well, however I prefered sharing to you folks the instrumental simply to make you guys really listen to the deep music in the background.
8 - Tornado feat. Steve Aoki - Tiesto
You guys will get a hard electro treat if you listen to this baby. Tiesto decided to team up with Steve Aoki in order to change things around a bit and play some good ol' electro. Considering Steve Aoki is already a monster at playing some electro, fusing with Tiesto creates an interesting, and good tune to listen to. I even find it somewhat dirty, not too clean, not too rough, as the song packs a punch. If you want something different on your Ipod, check this one out.
9 - We Found Darkness (The Jane Doze Mashup) - Rihanna // Avicii
If you guys don't hear a difference from the normal version of We Found Love, it's understandable. The song stays with Calvin Harris' constant beat, however you can hear a somewhat difference, first off with a more electro side to his music, and an additional voice in the background, making it more vivid in a way. As always Rihanna's voice stays beautiful as it already was on the original, but check this out if you still want to have some variety on your Ipod.
10 - Future Sound (Gorillaz vs. Nero & Knife Party) - Loo and Placido
You're probably asking yourself: "Who are these guys, mixing Gorillaz with some dubstep?" Well guys, its different, and it's actually my most surprising discovery of the month. The beginning resembles what most Gorillaz songs look like, however the song packs a punch as the breakdown kicks in, with Nero and Knife Party simply recking the dubstep. The song truly packs a punch, getting grimier and grimer, and Gorillaz add their lyrics and a bit of their natural beat in the background to make one, daring song.
That's all I got for this month guys, so tune in at the end of December to get more amazing tracks.
