Our homebros over at Boomclap along with LOOKOUT have done it again: Hessle Audio co-founder Ben UFO and Fade to Mind's MikeQ are playing in Montréal on Friday. Serious, serious bill. Playing a significant role in the revival of ballroom/vogue-house, Jersey resident MikeQ has been making heads turn with his latest release with Night Slugs subdivision Fade to Mind along with his Qween Beat collective where he puts out a multitude of ballroom tapes and edits. Without even producing a single track, Ben UFO has proved to be one of the essential leading contributors in the modern dubstep/house/techno movement. With the creation of Hessle Audio with Pearson Sound (Ramadanman), these two youngsters have put out records from notable artists like Objekt, Untold, Pangaea, Blawan, James Blake, and many more.
