Acoustic Nights Montreal will be hosting the Teen Songwriting Competition Sat June 23rd at the Centre of Education and Theatre in Montreal (CETM). If you are between 13 and 17 years-old, you would have until June 1st to enter the competition by filling out the online application available on the website and provide a YouTube video of you performing your song, video quality not bein a factor. A selected Top 10 will compete  On Sat June 23rd, 2012 in front of a live audience and a panel of judges by performing their song as a soloist or as a duo. The grand prize includes a chance to open for major artists backed by a full band of professional musicians and other prizes include a recording session in a professional studio, music lessons and much more! The first place winner and the runners-up will also get to perform with a full band at the Acoustic Nights Montreal Gala 2012 Sun Sep 30 at La Sala Rossa. Spread the word, invite your little brothers, sisters and singing cousins and neighboors -if talent is hiding in, now is a wonderful opportunity to get it out.
