Carlos40 - Album Launch Super Soft EP

Posted by Chelsea Harrisson ON Jul 1, 2012

June 26th was the night when Carlos40 launched his first EP called Super Soft. The event, located at the Underworld Cabaret, was genuine and fueled by family bonds. With a setlist which lasted about 30 minutes, Carlos40 was able to transcend his tight flow and personal lyrics meshed with wicked beats drawing from classic hip-hop to touching base with modern dubstep. It was a great show, run by an extremely down to earth, yet determined artist.

For his first interview, it was amazing. Carlos 40 has charisma oozing out of his pores.

Promoting their clothing line was Eikei Clothing, who had set up a booth with numerous well designed t-shirts and sweaters, depicting urban youth. Definitely check them out -- their clothing is great and of proper quality.

"Eikei reflects the youth in the streets from the skaters and the graffiti writers, to the dealers and the fiends, to young entrepreneurs and the dreamers and everything in between. Our designs all tell a different story from various perspectives and points of view. We're a reflection of different attitudes that are felt in this lifestyle. Eikei is product of its environment, the streets."

A gigantic thanks to Sebastien Jolicoeur, photographer for the event.
