Not much is known about Berlin-based Objekt.  Since his/her/its 2-track EP Objekt #1 dropped it has attracted the full attention of electro/house enthusiasts, and for good reason.  The bass-drum in B-side "Tinderbox" comes down like perfectly-spaced morphine drips; crushing, then relieving, then anxiously-awaited, then rushing right back into the bloodstream.  The bass murmurs and wails, the pace is even and effective and the arpeggio sections are torrential.  Objekt is a highly gifted composer, so please enjoy "Tinderbox" on some high-quality speakers, maximize volume, and brace yourself for that next morphine drip.
