Underground hip hop label Stones Throw records have released a remix of The Stepkids’ Suburban Dream, featuring Pharoahe Monch and Homeboy Sandman on the mic. The song, remixed by Union, features The Stepkids’ signature psychedelic sound, but given a stronger backbeat, and a very subtle dubstep wobble. MCs Pharoahe Monch and Homeboy Sandman season the track; Monch spitting his trademark multisyllabic rhymes, while Sandman slows it down, slurring his words with a nonchalant flow.
