If you are yet familiar with the MEG festival and Osheaga, you may want to find about about the MMOI, which is the collaborating effort of these two major musical entities. Standing as a an international music gathering for the profesionals of the music industry, this annual meeting connects new music and people from around the world by hosting conferences, events and showcases. For our own discovery, the MMOI will having its own concert series schedule for August 2nd. Montreal-based rockstress Kandle and critically acclaimed Australian intensidie ladies The Jezables will be performing at La Sala Rossa at 9pm as part of MMOI ROCK; dynamic trio french-singing Propofol and new electro's local it-thing Techical Kidman will be taking upon the Divan Orange starting at 11 for MMOI MTL; finally MMOI Electro will be hosted at Belmont featuring Huraton (Finnish), Christine (France) et our very own Le Matos from 11PM to 3AM.
